A Toronto man faces charges after officers recovered a vehicle stolen from Guelph.

Thursday morning, a west-end resident reported his brother-in-law’s 2021 Ram TRX pick-up had been stolen from the parking lot of the complainant’s building. The truck was left there while the owner was travelling.

Later Thursday, members of the Guelph Police Service Break Enter Auto Theft located the truck at an address in Toronto and made an arrest.

A 26-year-old Toronto man is charged with motor vehicle theft, possessing stolen property over $5,000 and two counts of breaching bail conditions. He was held for a bail hearing in Guelph Friday.
