(NEW TECUMSETH, ON) - The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested four individuals as a result of an ongoing investigation into a robbery that occurred in Alliston.

On Thursday, February 19, 2026, police arrived at multiple residential addresses over multiple jurisdictions to execute search warrants relating to a previous armed robbery at a retail establishment in Alliston that occurred in May of 2025. Four individuals were arrested.

As a result of the investigation Joseph LEE, a 19-year-old of Mississauga, has been charged with:

  • Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence

Additionally, Luke GRANT, a 19-year-old of Etobicoke, has been charged with:

  • Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence

Additionally, a 17-year-old of Ajax has been charged with:

  • Robbery with a Weapon
  • Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence

Additionally, a 17-year-old of Toronto has been charged with:

  • Robbery with a Weapon
  • Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence

Due to the age of two accused parties, their names will not be released as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

All four accused were held for a Bail Hearing on February 19, 2026 and currently remain in custody.
