NOTTAWASAGA OPP STREET CRIME UNIT EXECUTE WARRANT, SEIZE DRUGS AND FIREARMS

(NOTTAWASAGA DETACHMENT) - Members of the Nottawasaga Detachment Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the Collingwood and Huronia West CSCU’s and the Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), have arrested two individuals following a months-long drug trafficking investigation throughout Simcoe County.
On May 21st, 2026, officers executed a search warrant at a residence in Innisfil where two individual was taken into custody without incident.
As a result of the search, officers seized:
- A 9mm handgun with two magazines
- 2 x replica handguns
- 22 grams of psilocybin
- 7.5 grams of MDMA
- A butterfly knife
- $1215 in currency
- Cellular device
As a result of the investigation, the first accused, Devyn DELORME, a 31-year-old of Innisfil, has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Other drugs
- Possession of a Schedule III Substance
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000
- Careless storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or ammunition
- Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
- Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
- Three counts of Fail to comply with release order
The second accused, Tabytha GISITSCH, a 31-year-old of Innisfil has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Other drugs
- Possession of a Schedule III Substance
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000
- Possession of loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
The first accused was held pending a bail hearing and the second accused was released with a future court date at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bradford.
