TOW TRUCK TOWED AFTER NOTTAWASAGA OPP LAY IMPAIRED CHARGE

(NEW TECUMSETH, ON) - Members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged a tow truck operator with impaired driving following a traffic complaint.
On May 9, 2026, shortly before 4:00 pm, police received a report of a suspected impaired driver operating a tow truck on Victoria Street in Alliston. Within minutes, officers located the vehicle, which had stopped in a nearby parking lot. Police located and began speaking with the driver, conducting an impaired driving investigation.
As a result of the investigation, a 43-year-old of New Tecumseth, has been charged with:
