ENERGIZER LED Flashlight Vision PRO

(ESSA TOWNSHIP, ON) - Members of the Nottawasaga Detachment Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the Collingwood and Huronia West CSCU’s of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), have arrested one individual following a months-long drug trafficking investigation.

On May 7, 2026, officers executed a search warrant at a residence in Essa Township. One individual was taken into custody without incident.

As a result of the search, officers seized:

  • Approximately 32 grams of cocaine
  • Approximately 17 grams of methamphetamine
  • Various cutting agents
  • $2,830 in Canadian currency believed to be proceeds of crime
  • Brass knuckles and a large knife

As a result of the investigation, Marc SKELTON, a 36 year old, of Essa Township, has been charged with:

  • Trafficking in a Schedule I substance - Cocaine
  • Trafficking in a Schedule I substance - Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - Methamphetamine
  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Fail to comply with an undertaking

The accused was held for a bail hearing.
