SUV occupants position corrected
(NORWICH, ON) - A two-vehicle collision has claimed two lives, one other with life threatening injuries and another with minor injuries.
On October 24, 2025, at approximately 4:00 pm, members of the Oxford and Norfolk Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachments, Paramedic Services and Fire Services responded to a collision on Mall Road, between Oxford Road 13 and Middletown Line.
Upon arrival, emergency services located an SUV and a pick-up truck that had collided.
Both passengers of the SUV were pronounced deceased at local area hospital. The driver of the SUV was transported by air ambulance to a London Hospital. The driver of the pickup truck was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The deceased individuals were both from Princeton and were 77 and 60 years-of-age. The 75-year-old remains in hospital with life threatening injuries. The 27-year-old driver of the pickup truck has since been released from hospital.
The cause of the collision is being investigated. Members from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team are currently at the scene conducting the collision investigation. Mall road is currently closed between Oxford Road 13 and Middletown Line.
