FATAL COLLISION CLAIMS THREE LIVES
Ages of Deceased Confirmed and Roads Reopened
(OXFORD, ON) - Three individuals are deceased and two individuals remain in life- threatening condition following a collision in Norwich Township.
On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at approximately 3:00 pm, members of the Oxford Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Fire, and Emergency Medical Services responded to a collision at the intersection of Highway 59 and Quaker Street in Norwich Township.
The driver of the SUV, a 39-year-old from Cambridge and two occupants, a 13-year-old and 17-year-old from Tillsonburg, were pronounced deceased on scene. Two other occupants were transported to hospital, by Ornge and Ambulance, to be treated for serious life-threatening injuries. Their condition remains life-threatening.
The driver of the transport truck was uninjured.
Roads surrounding the intersection of Highway 59 and Quaker Street were closed for several hours but have since reopened.
Oxford OPP along with members of the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team continue to investigate the collision.
Investigators are asking residents and businesses along with members of the motoring public to check their security surveillance or dash camera footage in the event that they captured the collision, or the vehicles involved.
