OXFORD OPP SEEKING THE PUBLICS ASSISTANCE IN A DISTRACTION THEFT INVESTIGATION

(ZORRA, ON) - The Oxford Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the public’s assistance following a report of a distraction theft at the local store, in the Township of Zorra.
On September 15, 2025, at approximately 1:00 pm, members of the Oxford OPP detachment responded to a report of a theft on Road 74 near 33rd Line, where two subjects attended a residence where they distracted the homeowner.
It was reported that one of the subjects stole a sum of Canadian currency while the other distracted the homeowner. The subjects departed the residence in a black Audi SUV.
