Police Seeking Assistance in Identifying Those Responsible

(NORWICH, ON) - New speed feedback signs were damaged over the weekend in Norwich Township.

Two speed feedback signs were recently installed on Highway 59 between Oxford Road 13 and Beaconsfield Road, measuring northbound and southbound traffic speeds.

On April 20, 2026, at approximately 10:00 am, members of the Oxford detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified that one of the signs had been damaged between Thursday April 16, 2026, and Friday April 17, 2026. The damaged sign was replaced Friday April 17, 2026. Both signs were found damaged Saturday April 18, 2026. The signs are valued at approximately $6000.
