(SOUTH-WEST OXFORD, ON) - A 27-year-old male from Ingersoll is facing an assault charge after a report of a disturbance on the side of Highway 401.

On September 30th, 2025, at approximately 5:30 pm, members of the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment responded to a report of an altercation on Highway 401, in the Township of South-West Oxford.

It was reported that two individuals were involved in an altercation. One of the individuals involved suffered serious injuries.

Colton Cameron, 27-years-old, of Ingersoll, is charged with:

  • Assault Causing Bodily Harm

The accused was released from custody and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on a later date.
