THEFT OF ALCOHOL IN INGERSOLL

(INGERSOLL, ON) - Theft of alcohol in the Town of Ingersoll.
On May 18, 2026, at approximately 12:30 am, members from the Oxford detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a business on Bell Street in the Town of Ingersoll, for the theft of alcohol.
An individual took two 12-packs of alcohol from the cooler section and fled the area on foot towards John Street. Another individual held the door open for the suspect to leave without paying.
The suspects are being described as young, white males. One suspect was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, light coloured pants, dark footwear, and a dark coloured baseball cap with a white emblem. The suspect holding the door was only described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. Both suspects are described as having thin builds and being approximately 5’5” to 5’6” in height.
