SINGLE VEHICLE COLLISION LEADS TO IMPAIRED DRIVING CHARGES

(NORWICH TOWNSHIP, ON) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oxford Detachment responded to a single vehicle collision, resulting in one person being charged with multiple charges.
On July 19, 2025, at approximately 12:30 am, members of Oxford OPP were dispatched to a collision at the intersection of Highway 59 and Salford Road in Norwich Township.
As a result of the investigation, Austin BRISSON, a 26-year-old resident of Kitchener, has been charged with:
- Operation While Impaired
- Dangerous Operation
- Fail to Remain
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on August 26, 2025.
