IMPAIRED DRIVER ARRESTED IN A PARKING LOT IN TILLSONBURG

(TILLSONBURG, ON) - A driver is facing multiple charges after being arrested in a parking lot in the Town of Tillsonburg.
At approximately 3:00 pm, on February 8, 2026, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oxford detachment, were called to a parking lot on Hardy Street, for the report of a possible impaired driver.
As a result of the investigation, Sheldon PAULMERT, a 33-year-old resident of Tillsonburg, was charged with:
- Operation While Impaired
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance (two counts)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Woodstock, on March 24, 2026.
