INDIVIDUAL ARRESTED FOR DRIVING IN EXCESS OF 260 KM/HR

(OXFORD COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged after driving in excess of 260km/hr in a posted 100km/hr zone.
On Friday May 22, 2026, members of the Oxford detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged an individual after completing an investigation that started through an online report by a concerned citizen.
The investigation revealed that the suspect driver of a passenger vehicle was driving dangerously in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 in Oxford County and the eastbound lanes of Highway 403 in Brant County.
Ankit GEHANI, a 20-year-old resident of Mississauga has been charged with the following Criminal Code offence:

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Woodstock, on July 7, 2026.
