(FLESHERTON, ON) - A Grey Highlands resident is facing multiple criminal, provincial, and liquor‑related charges after a high‑risk driving incident in Flesherton late Wednesday night.

On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at approximately 11:13 pm, members of the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting radar enforcement in Flesherton, within the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

An officer observed a northbound vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was recorded at 125 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone. As the officer attempted to catch up to conduct a traffic stop, the vehicle attempted to pass another northbound vehicle, forcing a southbound motorist to pull onto the shoulder of the road.

Police initiated a traffic stop and, upon speaking with the driver, observed signs of impairment.

Bradley WILLIAMS, 34-years-old, from Grey Highlands, has been charged with the following offences under the Criminal Code (CC), Highway Traffic Act (HTA), and Liquor Licence and Control Act (LLCA):

  • Operation While Impaired - Alcohol (CC)
  • Operation While Impaired - 80 Plus (CC)
  • Dangerous Operation (CC)
  • Fail to Signal Lane Change (HTA)
  • Drive Left of Centre - Approaching Crest or Grade (HTA)
  • Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt (HTA)
  • Drive Motor Vehicle - Open Container of Liquor (LLCA)

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on June 4, 2026.

A 90‑day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a 14‑day vehicle impoundment were initiated as per statute.
