Charges Laid

(GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) - One person is charged following an investigation into a serious traffic collision in June 2025.

On Monday, June 23, 2025, at approximately 3:48 pm, members of the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Grey County EMS and local fire services, responded to a two-vehicle collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on Grey Road 17 at Big Rock Road in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.

The driver of the motorcycle sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injury and was transported to hospital for treatment.

As a result, a 39-year-old driver from Owen Sound has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:

  • Careless Driving Causing Bodily Harm

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Provincial Offences Court in Owen Sound on August 11, 2025.
