On Thursday, March 27, 2025 at approximately 5:25 pm Hamilton Police responded to a financial institution robbery on Upper Wentworth Street. A lone male suspect entered the business, brandishing a firearm and pointed the gun at employees demanding cash. The suspect fled the area in a dark coloured sedan. The suspect is described as the following:
- Male
- Light skinned
- Wearing a black work jacket with yellow reflective safety markings, dark pants, black shoes and a dark grey hat with a circular white logo
This investigation is ongoing, and the Hamilton Police B.E.A.R. Unit has taken the lead on this matter. If you have any information that you believe could assist Police with the investigation into this crime, you are asked to contact the police.
