Fatal Collision at Woodburn Rd and Binbrook Rd

Hamilton Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at approximately 8:11 pm at the intersection of Woodburn Road and Binbrook Road.
A 2020 Dodge Ram, driven by an adult male, was travelling southbound on Woodburn Road and failed to stop at the intersection, colliding with a 2018 Ford Edge that was eastbound on Binbrook Road. The impact caused both vehicles to come to rest in a nearby field.
There were four occupants in the Ford Edge. An adult male front-seat passenger, from the London area, was transported to hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The adult female driver and an adult female rear passenger sustained serious, life-altering injuries. An 18-month-old child was transported to hospital with critical injuries and is currently in stable condition.
The male driver of the Dodge Ram was transported to hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.
The Hamilton Police Collision Reconstruction Unit attended the scene and continues to investigate. Charges are anticipated; however, no further details are being released at this time.
