Hamilton Police Arrest Suspect in Two Armed Robberies

The Hamilton Police Service BEAR Unit has arrested a suspect in connection with two knife-point robberies that occurred in the city’s east end.
Through investigation, officers identified a 39-year-old male of Hamilton as the individual responsible for two armed robberies at a local convenience store—one on April 10, 2026, and a previous incident in December 2025.
On April 16, 2026, members of the BEAR Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Hamilton’s east end in relation to these offences. Evidence relevant to the investigation was located, and the suspect was taken into custody.
Trevor Doiron has been charged with the following offences and has been held for a bail hearing:
- Robbery - Armed with Weapon or Imitation
- Robbery with Intent to Steal
- Disguise with Intent x2
