This weekend, Core Patrol officers, while monitoring downtown Hamilton made significant drugs arrests on James Street South and York Boulevard.

On Friday, March 14, 2025 Core Patrol observed a 28-year-old male from Hamilton consuming illegal street drugs. Officers interrupted the male and further investigation revealed the suspect to be in possession of over 32 grams of fentanyl, methamphetamine, 44 dilaudid pills, 6 unknown pill capsules and a vial of GHB.

Dakota Majore-Baldwin of Hamilton is charged with the following:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - fentanyl
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - opioid
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - methamphetamine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - GHB
  • Proceeds of crime under $5000

On Saturday, March 15, 2025 Core Patrol attended the area of York Boulevard to address a large group of trespassers in the area. Amongst the group, officers observed a 37-year-old male that was wanted for a previous assault investigation. Officers quickly arrested the male and after a search, located over 5 grams of fentanyl, over 15 grams of methamphetamine and 28 dilaudid pills along with a replica firearm that was deemed a pellet gun.

Justin Roache of Hamilton is charged with the following:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - fentanyl
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - methamphetamine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking - opioid
  • Proceeds of crime under $5000
  • Fail to comply with probation x 2
  • Assault

Open drug use in our city will not be tolerated. Hamilton Police Core Patrol is consistently walking and biking the downtown area and we encourage all members of our community - if you see something, say something.
