Delivery Driver Charged in Sex Assault Investigation

The Hamilton Police are investigating a Sexual Assault that took place on April 3, 2025, at an apartment complex located in the area of Barton St E and Ottawa St N in Hamilton.
As a result of the investigation conducted by the Sex Crimes Unit, the male suspect has been identified as, Karanvir SINGH, a 29-year-old male from Brampton, Ontario.
SINGH was working in the capacity of a delivery driver when he entered the victim’s apartment under the guise of using the restroom. SINGH proceeded to sexually assault the victim prior to departing the apartment. Police believe that there may be additional victims.
On April 30, 2025, Karanvir SINGH was arrested in Brampton and returned to Hamilton.
SINGH has been charged with one count of Sexual Assault in relation to this incident.
