Fake Fentanyl Pills Seized in Central HEAT Drug Bust

Hamilton Police have disrupted a drug trafficking operation in east Hamilton following an investigation by the Central HEAT Unit.
On March 5, 2026, members of Central HEAT, with assistance from the Emergency Response Unit (ERU), executed multiple search warrants as part of an investigation into drug trafficking and associated social disorder in the area.
Investigators allege the suspects were trafficking illegal drugs from residences in east Hamilton. During the searches, officers seized quantities of cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, and pills believed to contain fentanyl that were pressed to resemble BAYER aspirin, a tactic used to disguise dangerous drugs.
Police also located replica firearms, digital scales, cutting agents, cellular phones, and cash, all consistent with drug trafficking activity. Officers further discovered walkie-talkies that were connected between locations and believed to have been used to communicate during the trafficking operation.
As a result of the investigation, three individuals were arrested and charged.

Officers seized approximately:
- 133 g of crystal methamphetamine
- 51 g of fentanyl pills
- 31 g of cocaine
- 16 g of suspected controlled substance
- 82 g of cutting agents
- $1,555 in cash
- 3 replica firearms
- 2 digital scales

Hamilton Police continue to prioritize enforcement efforts that address drug trafficking, the violence and social disorder associated with it, and those who prey on individuals struggling with addiction.
