A family run variety store in Flamborough was the location of a recent theft committed by a group of thieves.
On Saturday January 25, 2025 in the early evening, a group of six female suspects entered the store with the intention of stealing several items, including personal items owned by the business owners. While some of the women created conversation with staff and made small purchases, the rest of the group attempted to select and conceal various items from throughout the store. Some of the suspects made their way to the residential portion of the business and entered closets and drawers.
Once the store owners discovered the suspects true intentions, they confronted them and forced them to leave. They were observed fleeing through the front door and leaving in a black SUV parked nearby.
During the interaction, one of the store owners was bitten by one of the suspects.
Suspects were described as being between 25-60 years old, female, wearing dark winter clothing and some appeared to be wearing headscarves.
A photo of the suspects was provided as Police believe there may be more victims.
