The Hamilton Police Collision Reconstruction Unit has completed a thorough investigation into a collision that claimed the lives of both the driver and passenger earlier this year.
On Sunday June 22, 2025, shortly after 3:00 am, Hamilton Police responded to a single-vehicle collision on the Claremont Access. A Chevrolet motor vehicle was travelling southbound on the Claremont Access when it left the roadway and struck a stone wall. The female driver and passenger were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation has determined that impaired driving and speed were contributing factors in the crash.
