Fatal Collision Under Investigation on Wilson Street

On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at approximately 7:30 pm, Hamilton Police responded to a serious two-vehicle collision on Wilson Street, just west of Highway 403.
One individual has been pronounced deceased at the scene. Two others have been transported to hospital, one in critical condition and one in stable condition.
Wilson Street is closed in both directions west of Highway 403. Patrol officers are on scene and investigating. The Collision Reconstruction Unit will be attending. The Ontario Provincial Police are assisting with traffic control in the area.
Out of respect for the families involved, no identifying information will be released at this time.
