Gunshots Reported Overnight in Downtown Hamilton

In the early hours of this morning, Hamilton Police responded to reports of gunshots in the area of Ashley Street.
At approximately 12:14 am, officers arrived on scene within minutes. Two shell casings were recovered on Ashley Street. While no victims were located, a small amount of blood was found on the sidewalk in front of 627 King Street.
Information from witnesses suggests there may have been a physical altercation at that location. At this time, no injured parties have come forward to police.
