Hamilton Male Arrested for Sexual Assault

Hamilton Police were made aware that a Hamilton male was potentially sexual assaulting unsuspecting females.
As a result, Hamilton Police launched an investigation and subsequently arrested 36-year-old Bryan Hayward from Hamilton on May 16, 2025. Hayward has been charged with the following offences:
- Sexual Assault
- Administer Noxious Substance
- Voyeurism
- Distribution of Intimate Images
- Assault with a Weapon
- Operation of a Motor Vehicle while Prohibited
- Fail to Comply Probation (x2)
- Possession of a Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine
- Possession of Schedule I Substance- GHB
- Possession of Schedule I Substance- Hydromorphone
- Possession of Schedule IV Substance- Clonazepam
Bryan Hayward is male, white, 5’10”, approximately 180lbs, medium build, brown hair, with an amputation to his left hand.
Hayward may have contacted his victims through online dating sites. Hamilton Police believe there may be additional victims, including individuals who may not yet realize they have been affected. Investigators are urging anyone who has had any form of relationship or interaction with Hayward to contact police, as they may have information that could assist with the ongoing investigation.
