Hamilton Police Arrest Escaped Woman Following Public Assistance

Hamilton Police have located and arrested Mary Curran, a 34-year-old female who escaped custody earlier this week.
On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, members of the High Enforcement Action Team (HEAT) were conducting a search in the area of Augusta Street and John Street South to which they located and arrested the 34-year-old Hamilton woman.
Thanks to timely tips from our community she was arrested without incident.
Curran is facing additional charges, including Escape Lawful Custody, in addition to the charges previously laid:
- Operation of a Motor Vehicle While Impaired by Drug
- Flight From Police
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Fail to Comply with Release Order
