Hamilton Police Arrest Male for Drug Trafficking

Hamilton Police have arrested a 21-year-old male for drug trafficking in the downtown core.
On April 24, 2025, Hamilton Police investigators observed a male suspect engaging in several hand-to-hand transactions with individuals outside Philpott Memorial Church, located at 84 York Boulevard.
Following the suspected drug sales, officers maintained surveillance and tracked the male to the area of Robert Street and John Street North, where he was taken into custody after a brief foot chase. He was caught with 9.38 grams of fentanyl and cash.
Police have charged a 21-year-old male with the following:
- CDSA 5(2) – fentanyl
- Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000
