Hamilton Police arrested a 33-year-male after he was found damaging cars in a parking lot in the area of Main Street West.
At approximately 12:50 am, police received numerous calls about a male armed with a machete striking vehicles in an apartment parking lot and challenging people to a fight. When police arrived, the male dropped the knife and was safely arrested. In total, 36 vehicles were damaged.
The male is facing the following charges:
- Mischief Under
- Mischief Over
- Weapons Dangerous
- Fail to Comply with probation
