Hamilton Police have arrested fugitive Alexander La.
On June 17, 2024, at approximately 10:00 pm, the Hamilton Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit arrested La without incident at a Niagara Falls hotel.
La is suspected of involvement in violent incidents across Hamilton, including a daytime shooting on May 30 and an assault on May 13 .
When police located La, he had significantly changed his appearance to evade capture. He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
