Hamilton Police Investigate Double Fatal Collision on Mountain

On Sunday, June 22, 2025 shortly after 3:00 am, Hamilton police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on the Claremont Access.
A Chevrolet motor vehicle was travelling southbound on the Claremont Access when it left the road and struck a stone wall. The driver and passenger of the Chevrolet were pronounced deceased at the scene.
All investigative avenues are being considered at this time.
Hamilton Police Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken carriage of the investigation. Any potential witnesses to this collision are urged to come forward. Investigators are also requesting any motorists in the area at the time of the collision to check their dash cameras and any residences or businesses in the area with surveillance cameras to review their camera footage.
