Hamilton Police Investigating a Fail to Remain Collision

On Sunday, October 13, 2024, at approximately 5:42 am a collision occurred in the southbound lane of Queen Street South, south of Aberdeen Avenue, in the City of Hamilton. An individual was located on the roadway with serious head injuries and investigation revealed that the individual had been struck by a motor vehicle. The individual was transported to the Hamilton General Hospital by EMS with critical, life threatening injuries. The involved vehicle failed to remain at the scene.
At this time, the police are seeking any potential witnesses to this incident and urge anyone with information to come forward. Investigators are also requesting any motorists in the area at the time of the collision to check their dash cameras to review their camera footage.
