Hamilton Police Investigating Reported Shots Fired

On Monday, August 26th, 2024, at approximately 7:00 am, Hamilton Police received reports of a shooting incident in the vicinity of St. Andrew’s Drive and Nicklaus Drive in Hamilton. Witnesses in the area reported hearing multiple gunshots.
Upon arrival, officers conducted a thorough search but were unable to locate a scene. At this time, no victims or injured parties have been identified. The investigation is ongoing as police continue to gather information and search for any evidence related to the reported gunshots.
Division Two Criminal Investigation Branch is in charge of the investigation. Hamilton Police are asking residents in the area to review their security surveillance cameras or dash camera footage between the hours of 6:40 am and 7:20 am for any suspicious activity and to contact police.
