Hamilton Police Make Arrest For East End Shooting

In the early morning hours of May 10, 2024, a shooting occurred outside of 30 Congress Crescent. After the incident, surveillance video was released to the public showing the front doors of the apartment building being shot with a green laser sight.
After an investigation by the Shooting Response Team, Hamilton Police can announce an arrest in relation to this case. Detectives have arrested and charged Alexander LA with the following offences:
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (2 counts)
- Reckless Discharge of a Firearm
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order (2 counts)
- Possession of a Firearm contrary to Order (3 counts)
Alexander LA was arrested and charged while in custody for other criminal offences.
