Hamilton Police Release New Video in Connection to Reckless Daytime Shootout

Hamilton Police continue to investigate the daylight shooting that occurred on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 7:00 pm at Sanford Avenue North and King Street East. Today, investigators release new video footage to help identify and arrest the suspects involved. The released video captures two individuals who are suspects in the investigation:

- Shooter #1: A male, Black, late teens to early 20s, wearing black pants and a black or dark blue Puma hooded sweatshirt with the hood up

- Shooter #2: A male with a dark or tan complexion, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood down and dark pants or blue jeans

We are also reaching out to a third male who was present during the shootout and is considered a witness. This individual, who was used as a human shield during the exchange of gunfire, is described as follows:
- Witness #1: A male, Black, late teens to early 20s, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and black pants
This individual’s account could be critical in bringing clarity to the events that transpired, and we urge him to come forward.
