Hamilton Police are seeking the communities assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an early morning arson near Tim Hortons Field.
On Friday, August 23rd, 2024, shortly before 6:00 am, a suspect was captured on surveillance footage lighting multiple items on fire on the front porch of a residence while the occupant was asleep inside. The suspect then walked away in a southbound direction.
The suspect is described as:
- Male, slender build
- Possible sleeve tattoo on the right arm
- Wearing a black baseball cap, dark mask, blue coat with a white emblem and white zipper
- Blue jeans with rips in the front and white shoes
- Carrying a backpack with the initials “KD” on the right side
