Hamilton Police Seek Witnesses in Fatal on Lincoln Alexander Parkway

On Friday July 4, 2025 shortly after 8:00 PM, a 47-year-old male from Hamilton stopped his 2015 Toyota Yaris on the eastbound shoulder of the Lincoln Alexander Pkwy just west of Garth Street. The male exited his vehicle, and was struck by an eastbound transport truck. Hamilton emergency crews responded to the scene but the male was pronounced deceased.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit along with a Commercial Motor Vehicle Inspector with the Traffic Safety Unit were called in to assist the Division 3 Detectives with this investigation. The driver of the transport truck remained at the scene and is co-operating with investigators.
Investigators are requesting any motorists in the area at the time of the collision to check their dash cameras for any evidence that could help with this investigation.
