Hamilton Police Seek Witnesses in Stabbing incident in the area of King St E and Emerald St

In the morning hours of Sunday, November 16th, 2025, shortly after 7:30am, Hamilton Police were called to the area of King St E and Emerald St for a stabbing involving one suspect and one victim. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who suffered a stab wound to the torso. The victim was transported to the Hamilton General Hospital where he underwent immediate surgery. The injuries to the victim are currently deemed non-lifethreatening. Police believe the incident to be targeted.
At this time, the police are actively seeking any potential witnesses to this incident and urge anyone with information to come forward. Investigators are also requesting any residents or business in the immediate neighbourhood to check their security systems for any potential video that may assist the investigation.
