Hamilton Police are investigating a shooting that took place in a residential neighbourhood in SToney Creek.
On October 10, 2024, at approximately 9:30 pm, Hamilton Police responded to a 911 call reporting gunshots in thel area of Showcase Drive, located in the southeast region of the Stoney Creek Mountain. Upon arrival, police confirmed that a shooting had occurred.
Based on the evidence, investigators believe the shooting was targeted, though the motive remains under investigation. The victim has been cooperative with authorities.
