Hamilton Police recovered a firearm after a male crashed his car into the guardrail near the Kenilworth Access.
On October 9, 2024, Hamilton Police responded to a single-vehicle collision. The male claimed his car had mechanical issues. The officer suspected the male was impaired and administered a roadside breath test, which the male failed.
The male was subsequently arrested for impaired driving. When the officer searched the male incident to arrest, he was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm.
A 35-year-old male from Hamilton was arrested for impaired operation of a vehicle and possession of a restricted loaded firearm.
