Hamilton Police continue to investigate reports of human remains located at a Pier in Hamilton Harbour.
On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, shortly after 2:30 pm police received reports that possible human remains were located between Pier 16 and Pier 17 in Hamilton.
The Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service has attended and confirmed the remains are human.
Hamilton Police are currently conducting a search along the shoreline and will remain in the area as the investigation continues.
No further information will be released at this time and an update will be provided once one is available.
