Male Charged with Attempted Murder After Stabbing Incident

On Friday, November 8, 2024 at 11:30 pm a male victim was walking in the area of 810 Main Street East, when he was approached by an unknown male asking for change. The victim declined and the suspect attacked the victim, stabbing him multiple times in the head and back before fleeing from the area. The victim was transported to hospital, where he recieved treatment for his life-altering injuries.
Hamilton Police responded and as a result of a thorough investigation, David McGregor, a 37 year old male was arrested and charged for attempted murder.
