Pedestrian Fatally Struck on Northbound RHVP

On Saturday February 17, 2024, just after 11:00 PM Hamilton Emergency Services responded for a report of a pedestrian struck in the northbound lanes of the Red Hill Valley Parkway just north of King Street by a grey Chrysler motor vehicle.
The male was pronounced at the scene. The driver of the Chrysler, along with two passengers, remained on scene and are co-operating with investigators.
Both directions of the Red Hill Valley Parkway were closed for the investigation.
The HPS Collision Reconstruction Unit was called in and has taken carriage of the investigation. The affected stretches of the RHVP remain closed at this time.
