Hamilton Police are appealing to the public for assistance following the City’s latest shooting incident.
On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at approximately 8:15 pm, officers were called to a local Hospital to investigate the circumstances surrounding a 17-year-old female who had presented with a gunshot wound.
At this time, details surrounding the incident remain unclear and the parties involved are not cooperating with the investigation. Officers are continuing to gather information to determine where and how the shooting occurred.
The victim is currently recovering from her injuries.
