Police locate three stolen vehicles

Officers have recovered more stolen vehicles as a result of a proactive police work.
On January 20, 2025 in the early hours of the morning, Hamilton Police officers were performing proactive patrols in the area of Upper Ottawa Street and Silverton Drive when they discovered a stolen automobile idling in a parking lot.
Upon closer inspection, officers found a male sleeping in the driver’s seat of the vehicle and safely placed him under arrest. The 39-year-old male was charged with the following:
- Possession of stolen property obtained by crime over $5000.00
In addition to this discovery, Police located two other vehicles in the area which were also on file as stolen. The male was not charged with the theft of those vehicles, however investigations for both are ongoing.
