Police make fentanyl arrest on York Boulevard

Police have arrested a male after he was found to be in possession of illegal drugs.
On Thursday March 20, 2025 officers from the Hamilton Police High Enforcement Action Team (H.E.A.T) arrested a male who was observed to be in possession of illegal drugs on York Boulevard.
Upon searching the male, Police located the following:
- 13.5 grams of white cubed fentanyl
- Working digital scale
- A knife that opens with centrifugal force
- A black baton
- An amount of money consistent with drug trafficking
- A black imitation firearm
The 42-year-old male from Hamilton was charged by Police with the following:
- Possession of substance (fentanyl)
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl)
- Proceeds of crime under $5000.00
- Possession of prohibited weapon
- Fail to Comply probation x4
- Possession contrary to order x 6
