Six Teens and One Adult Injured in Serious Collision

On Tuesday August 26, 2025, shortly before 3:00PM, Hamilton police responded to a motor vehicle collision at Valens Rd and Concession 5 West in Flamborough involving a Volvo commercial motor vehicle and a KIA minivan.
All six occupants of the KIA, the driver and five teenage passengers, were taken to local hospitals. Their injuries range from minor to serious, with one female suffering life-threatening injuries. The lone adult male driver of the commercial motor vehicle was also transported to hospital as a precaution.
Hamilton Police Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken carriage of the investigation. At this time driver impairment has been ruled out; however, investigators are examining speed and disobeying a stop sign as potential factors involving the KIA. Any witnesses to this collision are urged to come forward. Motorists who were in the area at the time are asked to check their dash cameras, and residents or businesses along Concession 5 West with surveillance cameras are asked to review their footage for any relevant information.
