Stabbing Investigation at JC Beemer Park

On Tuesday April 22, 2025 Police were dispatched to report of a stabbing that occurred in JC Beemer Park located at 68 Victoria Avenue North.
Police learned that the victim had been at the park around 11:00pm when an unknown male confronted him. A disturbance broke out and the victim was stabbed during the incident.
The victim was able to return home where Police and EMS tended to the wound. He was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as:
- male
- late 30s to early 40s
- camouflage-style pants with large pockets
- jacket with a large shiny diamond emblem on the front
The suspect also appeared to be utilizing a mid-sized, light-coloured service dog wearing a dark vest.
