On Saturday, April 26, 2025, Central HEAT officers were conducting proactive patrols in the area of City Hall when they observed suspicious activity consistent with drug trafficking.
Officers witnessed a male engaging in multiple hand-to-hand drug transactions with vulnerable members of the community. As a result of their investigation, officers arrested a 25-year-old Hamilton man without incident.
The individual is facing the following charges:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - Fentanyl
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - Hydromophone
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - Oxycodone
- Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
- Fail to Comply Probation
